Dr. J.S. Rajkumar’s commitment to the advancement of surgical practices extends beyond his professional duties. In 2014, he served as the Organizing Secretary for the IAGES, showcasing his dedication to organizing and facilitating educational events in the field. Additionally, he assumed the role of Chairman for the Association of Surgeons of India – TN & P Chapter in 2011-12, furthering his involvement in promoting surgical excellence at a regional level.

As a Founder Member of the College of Surgeons of India, Dr. Rajkumar played a pivotal role in establishing a platform for collaboration and professional development among surgeons. He has also generously shared his expertise as a mentor for various surgical procedures. Notably, Dr. Rajkumar has served as a mentor for Colorectal and Obesity Surgeries under Covedien and as a mentor for Obesity, Hernia, and Advanced Lap Surgeries under Ethicon. Moreover, his mentorship in Advanced Laparoscopy for IAGES reflects his commitment to nurturing the next generation of surgical talent and driving innovation in the field.

Through these non-profit activities, Dr. Rajkumar continues to contribute significantly to the advancement of surgical education and practice, leaving a lasting impact on the surgical community.
